Second Web Site Critique

My second web site critique was the following site.

http://www.webstyleguide.com/index.html?/index.html

The site is mainly text, which is great for loading speed however it’s not very interesting!

It appears well laid out, however the choice of white as a background I find hard on the eyes.

All of the links are quick to load; in fact all of the text on the web page are links. Perhaps an indexed system might have been better, with the use of breadcrumbs to keep track of where you are, plus a home page button on every link.

The other thing I didn’t like was the amount of scrolling required to access the information.

However the site offer some useful links.
Over all I would give the site a 2

Web site critique 07 - 02 - 2005

Web site critique

I choose to look at the following : http://www.curiousmindsmedia.com/articles/essentials.htm

I found that the links were not always available they looked like pictures as opposed to pure text links.

The bright orange of the heard I found distracting and the bright white background was hard to focus on for a period of time.

However the basic layout was uncluttered and clear.

Once the links came up there was an interesting animated link to take you to the next page, although this may get boring if you are accessing this page often.

I rate this site as a 3
